We use African made textiles for the body of our products — this is what sets Endiro Studios apart from other brands. Other materials (such as linings and trims) are made from natural fabrics as far as possible, such as cotton and linen.

We source our barkcloth from a farmer’s collective in the Buganda region of Uganda, ensuring fair payment for their work.

Yes — everything is handmade on a made to order or small scale basis. This reduces waste and means every piece is uniquely made with minor variations in construction.

Not exactly, and that’s what makes it one of a kind. Tree derived, handwoven, and hand printed textiles vary from piece to piece and so will result in small variations in the final product. We think that’s what makes it special!

Spot clean only using a light damp cloth. Avoid heavy saturation with water or using soaps or detergents. Allow to airdry away from direct sunlight or strong heat sources.

Generally keep barkcloth away from direct sunlight for extended periods to preserve natural tones.
